How to make Dominican Cake Mix!

How to make Dominican Cake Mix by Belqui's Twist (English)

Grease sides and bottom of pan

Use unsalted butter

Use pineapple juice

We recommend using the mix to fill three full-sized pans

Beat butter until fluffy

Bake the cake in the middle of the oven for good air circulation

Use exact measurements of ingredients: 1 cup of pineapple juice, 1/2 cup of corn oil, 6 eggs, 16oz of butter

Remember to add one half of the cake mix and half pineapple juice, then Mix it, and then add the OTHER HALF of the cake mix and juice

BRAND OF INGREDIENTS WE RECOMMEND ARE: Breakstones butter and Dole Pineapple juice

Cut cake in half and add Angela's Bakery relleno (tres leches, piña and guava)

Toppings and Spreads: Our Dominican cake is great on its own, but if you would like to add a taste of sweetness try these: - fresh fruit on top layer with powdered sugar (raspberries, blueberries are a fav) - spread a layer of our delicious preserves or "rellenos" on top, or try cutting the cake in cross section and spreading a layer in between!

Too much cake? One BOX can make up to THREE cakes! You can bake it all at once for special occasion fiestas, or large group gatherings. Or you can prepare the mix, but only bake what you need and freeze the rest!
